Parcours Contemporain (Contemporary Arts Event)
This event, created in 1999, consists of a coming-together of the town, its exceptional heritage and its people with artists and plastic-artists who are invited to live and work here. An artists' residence during the summer months completes this arrangement which is unique in the whole West of France

The Municipal School of Music and Dance offers courses in multiple disciplines:
Musical awakening, mastering an instrument, professional advice, public productions… and, because music is a vocation and a passion, every Summer the town welcomes young Korean virtuosos who come to work with celebrated musicians.

Installed in the heart of the historic town centre, the 'La Fontaine' reference library is a place of living culture where you can devote yourself to your thirst for knowledge.

La Gare, the town's cultural and conference centre, is part of a new generation of reception facilities which combine aesthetic, modular and functional assets. Able to hold between 300 and 5,000 people, la Gare is amenable to all modes of expression: concerts, opera, theatre, dance or circus and offers the necessary infrastructure for showrooms, symposiums or dinner dances. Its established reputation makes it an essential cultural facility in the great west region.
